Jonjua Overseas Ltd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with entrepreneur Anjali Sharma for cooperation and facilitation in developing a private rooftop helipad near the National Highway at Rampur BSR, Himachal Pradesh.
The proposed helipad is aimed at improving connectivity in the remote Himalayan region and supporting tourism, emergency services and economic activities. The project will be subject to necessary statutory, aviation, safety, environmental and other regulatory approvals.
Jonjua Overseas has constituted a two-member team comprising Chairman-cum-Managing Director Major Harjinder Singh Jonjua (Retd.) and Director Harmanpreet Singh Jonjua for the project.
The company said Major Harjinder Singh Jonjua has 48 years of experience in designing and developing helipads and STOLports in remote and border areas.
The proposed rooftop helipad will be developed on a seven-storey hotel project being set up by Anjali Sharma in Rampur BSR.
