The Sensex and Nifty 50 edged lower on Friday as investors booked profits following the sharp gains recorded in the previous session.
At 10:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 74759.12 up by 443.51 points or by 0.6 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23140.4 up by 143.05 points or by 0.62 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 74774.68 and intraday low of 74012.99 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23143.8 and intraday low of 22913.8
