Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty traded higher in early deals on Thursday, led by gains in IT stocks and optimism that the US Federal Reserve could adopt a less aggressive monetary policy stance after softer-than-expected US inflation data.
At 10:25 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77370.72 up by 185.29 points or by 0.24 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24125.6 up by 47.1 points or by 0.2 %.
