Sensex and Nifty were trading lower in afternoon trade on Tuesday as weakness in auto, banking and realty stocks outweighed gains in metal and pharma shares.
At 12:15 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77205.79 down by -410.61 points or by -0.53 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24107.15 down by -103.85 points or by -0.43 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 77402.79 and intraday low of 77001.58 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24157.1 and intraday low of 24038.1
