Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading lower on Tuesday, weighed down by a sharp surge in crude oil prices following the renewed escalation of tensions in West Asia.
At 10:35 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77213.41 down by -402.99 points or by -0.52 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24063.45 down by -147.55 points or by -0.61 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 77402.79 and intraday low of 77001.58 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24157.1 and intraday low of 24038.1
