The report, published by the Association of Direct Selling Entities of India (ADSEI) in collaboration with research partner Kantar, stated that the industry has 91 lakh active direct sellers, of whom 47% are women. The figures highlight the sector's role in providing self-employment opportunities and supplementary income.
