Hemisphere Properties India Ltd (HPIL) has appointed Amit Kumar Agarwal as an Independent Director on its Board, effective August 27, 2026, pursuant to an Office Order issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).
Agarwal has been appointed for a period of three years from the date of notification, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
A business professional from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, Agarwal brings over three decades of entrepreneurial and management experience. He has been engaged in business and self-employment since 1993, with expertise spanning business management, administration and commercial operations.
He holds a postgraduate degree in Accountancy and Statistics from Hindu Degree College, Moradabad, which he completed between 1990 and 1992.
Agarwal has also submitted a declaration confirming that he has not been debarred from holding the office of Director by any SEBI order or any other regulatory authority.
