JTL Industries’ subsidiary, JTL Engineering Limited, plans to invest approximately Rs 15 crore to expand its narrow-width hot-rolled (HR) coil manufacturing capacity, with the project expected to double monthly capacity from 5,000 MT to 10,000 MT.
The expanded facility is scheduled to be commissioned in Q4 FY27 and will also enable the company to manufacture wider narrow-width HR coils. The maximum coil width will increase from the existing 9 inches (228.6 mm) to 11 inches (279.4 mm).
The enhanced capacity and wider product range are expected to allow JTL Engineering to cater to a broader set of specifications and customer requirements.
The company uses sponge iron and steel scrap as key raw materials in its manufacturing process. The use of scrap supports efficient raw material utilisation and contributes to its focus on recycling and more circular manufacturing.
JTL Industries Managing Director Madan Mohan said the expansion is aimed at strengthening the subsidiary’s manufacturing capabilities and broadening its product portfolio, while enabling it to serve a wider range of customer requirements.
